Church of St. Margaret Mary's Parkersburg, WV
This was one of the most rewarding avenues of fine woodworking I have been engaged in. On numerous occasions I met with the Pastor, his committee of community members, and a liturgical consultant to discuss the needs of their Church. I spent the next year and a half designing and building seven major pieces for the sanctuary. Three of them are sampled below. It continues to be a humbling and richly felt experience knowing these offerings of mine play such a meaningful role in the spiritual lives of the people of that community. All pieces done in locally harvested, milled, and dried black walnut.
