Arts and Crafts aesthetic blended with contemporary curves produces a fixture at home in a variety of settings. The design adapts to a variety of lengths and ceiling hanging arrangements.
Unable to obtain bowl reflectors that produced a warm glow and the needed appearance, I took on the task of learning to “spin” metal, and created the reflectors for this fixture from flat copper flashing spun and formed on a lathe. It’s a lot like walking up a to a spinning blade on a table saw and attempting to form it into a bowl with a blunt tool -- scary!
