The OM is a somewhat smaller-bodied instrument than the dreadnought, especially in body depth, giving it a more intimate feel. It resonates fully, projects well, tends to have a stronger balance across the bass and treble strings, and truly excels as a finger-style instrument.

Choice of Sitka or Engelmann spruce, or Western red cedar soundboard,
East Indian rosewood back, sides,

Mahogany neck

Solid peghead with Gotoh tuners
Clear Mylar pickguard
Torsion rod with "through-the-sound-hole" adjustment.
Bone saddle, fully compensated
•3 line purfling on soundboard: red/white/red or black/white/black.
