1986- Granted certificate in Fine Woodworking from the College of the Redwoods in Fort
Bragg, California, attesting to over 3,000 hours of study under master craftsman James
Krenov.
1984- Received bachelor's degree (AB) in Environmental Science, biology track, from the
University of California at Berkeley. Graduated with high honors.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
1986-2005 Established furniture design studio and workshop creating quality objects
encompassing jewelry boxes to dining tables, and lighting to liturgical pieces. I Also
design and build acoustic guitars.

STATEMENT
Common to the wide array of works I have created is a simple clarity of purpose in design
