Don't necessarily think huge collection of jewelry, instead think well organized and beautifully displayed.  The hinged panel on top is for hanging earrings.  Behind the panel are three brackets for necklaces or bracelets.   The shelf is adjustable  and the eleven trays pivot out to reveal a variety of partitions.  The mirror is there where you need it, at the ready.  And, it all hangs on the wall, out of the way.  Mounting is very easy with provided template.  No two of my jewelry cabinets are alike, but time and again I'm complimented on how well thought out they are, usually in the form of, "a woman must have thought of this!"
