Commissioning a new work is an exciting prospect! In our mass-produced world, it is a rare treat to own and enjoy a piece that has been created just with you in mind. I particularly enjoy the collaborative aspect of working with a client, whether your needs are very specific, or if you simply have a general idea of where to go. Clear communication will help make the process mutually rewarding. 

I will invest up to two hours discussing your project with you and generating rough idea sketches with no obligations. If precise drawings, or further development is required to advance the project, design time will be billed at $50 per hour. Typically, $250 will get us to a design and a firm estimate (barring any further design changes). 

Payment plans may be customized. My usual arrangement is 10% due when you accept the design to secure a spot in my schedule. Half the balance due 3 weeks before the start of the project; the remainder due upon completion.
