Andaman padouk and quilted big-leaf maple
This mirror works as a companion to the hall table done in the same materials. The quilted maple is so three-dimensional it's almost unsettling to stroke the surface and feel that it is perfectly flat! Andaman padouk retains its rich rosy hue and is excceptionally rare these days. The common African padouk starts off a gaudy orange and oxidizes to a muddy brown.
